Shaunquelle Sapp Admitted to Columbus State University

2013 Sep 16

Shaunquelle Sapp, of Ludowici, GA, has been admitted to Columbus State University for the fall semester.

Sapp, who is a member of the Class of 2017, plans to be studying Psychology.

Sapp began the school year with a variety of campus events, including the annual Freshman Convocation, a ceremonial welcome to the academic environment for first-time students and their families. Held this year on Aug.18, the event serves as a rite of passage, introducing new students to the university's community of scholars.

Columbus State University is ranked among the Top 50 "regional public universities" in the South by U.S. News & World Report magazine.

Just 100 miles southwest of Atlanta, Columbus State enrolls more than 8,200 students in nationally distinctive programs in the arts, business, education, nursing and more.

CSU has two distinct campuses where students can have a variety of diverse experiences. The main campus, centrally located off I-185 in Columbus, offers a more traditional collegiate setting with student activities and its nationally recognized Student Recreation Center, whereas the RiverPark campus, located in the heart of downtown Columbus, offers a more urban and creative experience through art exhibits, shows, concerts and the new and exciting urban whitewater course named by USA Today as among the world's top man-made attractions.
